Sonic Team decided that Sonic was 'all about running really really fast all the time and then dying sometimes for no reason,' and so that's what they made. It's the closest thing I've played to a new Sonic game that 'feels' old, though it's a little more polished in some areas and a little less polished in others. So I'll probably be playing it a third time at some point. The second time (years later), it disappointed me. The first time I played it, it was my favorite by far. Sonic 2: really good but why do people call it the best one?
